February 2012 Updates:

T.E.D.S SHOWTIME "SEASONS"

Theatre Rehearsal Wednesday 22nd February 2012

Tiny Tots & Juniors	4.30pm until 6.30pm
Inters	6.30pm until 8.30pm
Seniors	6.30pm until 9.30pm

Theatre Show Day Saturday 25th February 2012

Inters / Seniors	To arrive at theatre by 9.30am - Rehearsal begins at 10.00am
Juniors	To arrive at the theatre by 11.00am - Rehearsal begins at 11.30am
Tony Tots	To arrive at the theatre at 2.00pm
	Lunch: 1.00pm until 2.00pm Full Dress Rehearsal: 2.30pm - 4.30pm 4.30pm: Tea and get ready for the days performance Please note all times are approximate

Theatre Show Day Sunday 26th February 2012

To arrive at theatre by Midday (12.00)

We still need more volunteers!!!!!!

Please contact us to confirm your availability to help with the show days.

Show and Cast Notes

It would be helpful for each pupil to have a box clearly named for their belongings.

Please make sure your child brings a packed lunch/tea. Drink will be supplied and please note you may take your child out for lunch, during the scheduled break.

Senior Pupils: May wish to leave the theatre for lunch. If this is the case, T.E.D.S will require written confirmation from the pupils parents/guardian.

Underwear

Please make sure that your child has suitable underwear.

Juniors: High leg close fitting pants that will not show when worn with a leotard.

Inters/Seniors: Thong or high leg pants (preferably flesh colour). If bra is necessary, please make sure that the straps do not show (flesh colour bra preferable)

Inters/Seniors:

Danskin stirrup stage tights.

Some pupils will need these. Obtainable from Charmaine

Price: £5.00 child - £7.00 adult

Show Finale

All pupils except Tiny Tots, will need the regulation T.E.D.S. T-Shirt, black trousers, leggings or tights, black socks, black jazz shoes/boots, black plimsols or low heeled black dolly shoes (that do not slip off easily). T-Shirts obtainable from Charmaine - Price: £6.00 child - £9.00 adult

Hawaiian	White tap shoes and white ankle socks
Summer Holidays	Bare Feet
Spooky Takes a Holiday	Bare Feet
On the Beach	Bare Feet / Danskin Tights
Colours of the Wind	Pink ballet shoes and pink tights
Sailors	White tap shoes and white ankle socks
Skeletons	Bare Feet
White Christmas	Pink ballet shoes and pink tights
Step in Time	Black, brown and grey trousers full or 3/4 length to loosely stitch patches on. Shirt dull colour, waistcoat and braces optional
Thriller	Any old garments to be ripped and made dirty
Singing in the Rain	Black stirrup tights, black tap shoes and black socks, white shirt buttoned to the neck
Senior Tap	Black bootleg trousers, white shirt buttoned to the neck, black tap shoes and socks
Soak up the Sun	Denim shorts

NOTES:	If you do not have a white shirt, so not go out and buy one especially. Please contact Tina a.s.a.p. Also, if you have more than one white shirt or know anybody that has any, could we please borrow them. The same applies for black, brown or grey trousers.

Note for Parents and Students for 2012 Class Uniform - "All students are required to wear the TEDS regulation uniform for all classes". The uniform consists of: TEDS Sweatshirt, TEDS T-Shirt and long hair must be tied back. Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times.

T.E.D.S Dance Show 2012 - "SEASONS"

We urgently need your with the following, to ensure our 2012 show is a success:

Alteration of Costumes - If you are handy with a sewing machine, we'd love to hear from you!
Back Stage: We need Chaperones, Make Up and Hair Stylists + help with costume changes during show

October 2011 Updates:

T.E.D.S, supporting Ray Edwards MBE - "Limbcare Gala Dinner Dance"

Many of you will know Ray as compere from our past shows. He became quad-amputee in 1987. It has been this vision to setup a centre for the Limb Impaired, to help create independence through counseling, help, support, fitness, sport & dance education for all amputees and limb impaired individuals in the United Kingdom.

It is a year since Limbcare was established. It would be great if T.E.D.S were able to get a table together to support Ray in his Limbcare visions, as he has supported T.E.D.S!!

Congratulations to every one of the 27 R.A.D Ballet Exam Candidates, for passing their exams this summer. 7 x Grade 1, 6 x Grade 2, 5 x Grade 3, 3 x Grade 4 and 6 x Primary.
